자신이 쓴 자유시를 역동적으로 읽어 내려가는 낭독 대회, 또는 퍼포먼스를 의미하는 포에트리 슬램(Poetry Slam)에 대해 알아보는 스터디이다. 세인 코이잔, 김경주의 시, 시극을 함께 읽으며 본디 소리로 시작되어 문자예술이 된 시를 다시 소리예술로 환원하는 자리를 가짐으로써 포에트리 슬램이라는 장르의 가능성을 타진해 보는 시간을 가졌다.
This is a 'study' exploring 'Poetry Slam', a dynamic recitation contest or performance that involves the energetic oral interpretation of freely written poems. Through reading the works of Shane Koyczan and Kim Kyung-ju, including poetry and drama, we aim to examine the potential of the genre of Poetry Slam. This session serves as an opportunity to start with the original sound, then convert poems that have become literature only focusing on literal words back into the realm of performing arts, collectively delving into the possibilities offered by Poetry Slam.
