예술가는 예술하는 기계가 아니라 살아있는 인간으로서 자신을 둘러싼 사회, 환경, 조건들과 상호작용한다. 때로는 예술가의 예술함을 방해한다고 치부되는 요인이 창작을 위한 원동력이 될 수도 있다. <예술가의 조건>은 예술가의 삶에 선행되는 조건이 오히려 창작을 위한 조건으로 기능할 수 있다고 전제하고 매주 주제별로 작가 1명을 초대하여 토크를 진행했다.

The artist interacts with the surrounding society, environment, and conditions as a living human, rather than merely functioning as a machine for creating art. Sometimes, factors that are criticized for hindering the artist's creativity can become the driving force for creation. "Conditions of the Artist" assumes that the conditions preceding an artist's life can actually function as conditions for creation. Each week, a different artist was invited to discuss various themes.
