《보이는 것과 보이지 않는것_숨바꼭질》展_외부 기획전

《보이는 것과 보이지 않는 것_숨바꼭질》은 그림을 통해 각자의 다양성을 표출하는 ‘젊은’ 작가 군단을 선보인다. 전시에 참여하는 6 명의 작가들은 자신만의 이미지와 색으로 하얀 캔버스를 채운다. 이번 전시는 단순히 작가의 손에서 탄생하는 다양한 이미지와 색을 관객 앞에 펼쳐 보이기보다는 그 안에 담긴 작가들의 숨은 이야깃거리들을 관객과 마주하게 한다. 술래가 숨은 사람을 찾아내는 아이들의 놀이인 ‘숨바꼭질’처럼 관객은 작가가 캔버스 안에 만들어 내는 ‘보이는’ 세계 안에 감추어진 ‘보이지 않는’ 의미들을 찾아나간다.

The exhibition The Visible and the Invisible_Hide and Seek presents a group of ‘young’ artists expressing their diversity through paintings. The six artists fill the white canvas with their own images and colors. In this exhibition, rather than simply presenting various images and colors created by the artists, it allows the audience to confront the hidden narratives within them. Similar to the children’s game of ‘Hide and Seek,’ where the seeker tries to find the hidden person, the audience explores the ‘invisible’ meanings concealed within the ‘visible’ world created by the artists on the canvas.
