《제6회 아마도애뉴얼날레_목하진행중》에 참여한 작가–큐레이터들은 현시대의 모든 지배적 이데올로기에 맞서 구원이 없는 장소로부터의 출구, 해방, 그리고 자유롭게 이어지는 길의 가능성을 드러내며 불가능한 지점에 도달하려 한다. 전시 공간에 위치한 작품들은 당시의 ‘현재’와 결부되어 있지만 지금의 ‘현재’와 새로운 관계를 구축하고 정보나 커뮤니케이션의 세계, 그리고 보다 넓은 의미에서 지금 일어나고 있는 사건들의 중심에 있는 우리와는 다른 시간성을 만들어낸다.

The artist–curators participating in The 6th Amado Annualnale strive to reveal the potential of breaking free from a place with no hope for salvation, and to find a path towards liberation and freedom, in defiance of the dominant ideologies of our era. The works in the exhibition space are anchored to the “here and now” of their time, yet establish a new connection with the “here and now” creating a temporality distinct from our world of information and communication, and from the current events in a broader sense.
