아마도애뉴얼날레는 8회까지 아마도예술공간 운영위원회의 추천으로 기획자와 작가가 매칭되어 전시를 둘러싼 담화가 중심이 되었다. 9회에는 처음으로 지속적인 교류가 밑바탕이 되는 기획자 × 작가 팀 공모를 진행했다. 이를 통해 전시 프로토콜이 탈각된 자리에서의 담화, 즉 기획자와 작가라는 역할에서 벗어난 전시장 바깥의 담화까지 공간으로 이끌어와 내용의 변형이 아닌, ‘형식의 전복’에서 ‘새로운’ 것을 시도한다.
Up until the 8th edition of Amado Annualnale, curators and artists were paired by the steering committee of Amado Art Space, and the focus was primarily on the exhibition’s discourse. However, in the 9th edition, we introduced an open call for curator × artist teams, emphasizing ongoing exchange. This allowed us to bring in external perspectives and discourse, diverging from the traditional exhibition protocol and exploring something ‘new’ in terms of form rather than content transformation. This approach aimed to challenge the established roles of curator and artist, fostering a space for the ‘subversion of the form.’
