제5회 아마도사진상 조경재 개인전 《치수(齒髓)를 드러내다》

《치수를 드러내다》에서 작가는 사진 작업과 설치로 확장 등 일련의 과정을 현시점에서 종합하면서도 어떤 진전을 시도한다. ‘치수(齒髓)’는 치아 내부의 신경과 혈관을 포함하는 조직을 지칭하는 것으로 작가는 이를 내재된 것이 바깥에 드러난 것으로 접근한다. 배관을 위해 관 등이 외부로 노출된 것, 사용을 위한 공간 분할과 일정한 시공간이 만들어낸 촉각, 청각, 후각적인 부분 등 아마도예술공간의 원래 형태와 구조 내에서 사진 작업이 만들어지는 과정을 노출한다. 즉 자신의 사진 작업이 만들어지는 여러 과정을 해체하여 보여주면서도 공간을 하나의 덩어리로 총체적으로 보여준다.

In The Reveal of Tooth Pulp, the artist aims to synthesize a series of processes, including photographic work and expansion into installation, while making some progress. “Pulp” refers to the tissue inside a tooth that contains nerves and blood vessels, which the artist approaches as an internal element that is exposed to the outside. Through the exhibition, the artist reveals the process of creating photographic works within the form and structure of the Amado Art Space. This includes exposed pipes used for plumbing, space division for specific uses, and the tactile, auditory, and olfactory elements created by a particular time and space. Essentially, the artist deconstructs the various processes involved in creating his photographic works and presents them as a unified entity while highlighting the space as a single entity.
